Communities First Thornhill Youth and Community Information Centre, is a new initiative in partnership with Torfaen Voluntary Alliance and offers a drop in youth facility to this community first housing estate in Cwmbran. This provision is not a youth club but rather an all encompassing information and support facility for young people. It also offers a homework club and craft and other project ideas based around the OCN accredited courses for young people.

Thornhill Wye Court is a Credu digilab centre and boasts over £38,000 worth of Computer equipment including electronic white boards, computer equipment, digital video and still cameras and all the software required for audio and video editing. The digilab is a Canllaw-online initiative in partnership with Fujitsu.
