Members of Thornhill Youth Centre worked in partnership with other community groups to create a community garden outside their community hall. The project, in partnership with BT community matters involved the planning and building of a garden which will be accessible by all members of the community. The garden is now completed and has proved to be a very popular addition to the community hall premises. In order to gain an understanding of what was involved members visited two similar projects in Cardiff to carry out research and develop ideas which they then incorporated in their own garden project. |
