St Dials Youth Club Celebrate St David's Day

To celebrate St Davids Day in 2004 the young people made giant leeks out of crepe paper, with the help of Debbie made a giant dragon collage out of twisted paper pieces and enjoyed [?] traditional welsh food such as bakestones [welsh cakes], larva bread [cakes made from seaweed and cooked in bacon fat] and cawl [ welsh lamb stew].
 The comments about the larva bread ranged from;
'tastes like seaweed’ 'nice’ ‘disgusting’ ‘not eating that again’
Our evaluation – good session – will do it again.
