Sexual Health Training Courses for Youth Workers in Torfaen

  Only youth workers who have successfully completed the appropriate training courses are able to conduct workshops dealing with sexual health topics. These training courses, which deal with issues such as sexuality, sexually transmitted diseases, contraception, relationships, working with girls and young women, working with boys and young men are available to youth workers in Torfaen only. 

Training Courses currently on offer include:

CCard Training (for the distribution of free condoms)

• The aims and objectives of the training course outlined.
• The First Six Months A report on the start up period.
• The C-CARD, Why We Need It. Why did we start?
• The Fraser Guidelines.  Guidelines for use when working with young people on sexual health or contraceptive topics.
