Pontypool Youth Council |

Pontypool Youth Council has been
active for a number of years now and are very involved in projects that
concern young people in the town. They hold open meetings for young people every Tuesday afternoon in the TRAC shop in Pontypool. Called 'The Den' this project is open from 3.30pm and, with the support of youth workers, is the responsibility of the Youth Council. The Youth Council are very active with the youth festival that are held every year with the twin towns of Pontypool, Condeixa in Portugal, Longumeau in France and Bretten in Germany. The Youth Council hosted a very successful Youth Festival in Pontypool in 2004 and have been present at every youth festival since including the latest one in Bretten, Germany in 2007. |
