The fame of our giant wizard and robot figures is spreading further.
They put in another appearance at the Pontypool Christmas Parade.
The figures, made by members of Ashley House and Griffithstown youth
centres have proved to be the highlight of every parade they have appeared in.
The 5 metre figures are a hit with young and old alike and the addition of
special effects lighting for night parades has made them even more noticeable.
Following the success of these figures it has been decided to make an army of
smaller puppets that young members from youth centres can carry at future
carnivals and parades. These will be made from the same patterns of our
giant robots but will be downsized for ease of carrying by young people.

Look out for an army of figures at Cwmbran and Pontypool Carnivals in 2006.
