The night before Halloween and St Dials, along with
Ashley House and Llantarnam youth clubs travelled to Oakwood Park in
Pembrokeshire to experience Fright Night. The theme park was open until
late and we enjoyed most of the rides in complete darkness. Imagine
hurtling along a roller coaster and not being able to see anything
apart from the stars above. Fantastic experience. Some of the young people
were brave enough to ride the Ghost Train - nothing in that they
thought - but they were not aware that Oakwood had pulled out all the
stops and provided real life power saw and baseball wielding crazed
monsters to attack the carriages. A good night was had by all.
