For their Service section of the award the young people have to show commitment to a community based project or one n which they assist a group or an individual over the required length of their programme. A group of six are undertook their service section at the local Community Farm, three with the local Police force and one in a child care day centre. |
Other projects in this section have included helping at a special needs school, assisting at youth centres, a fire service trainees course and assisting with younger pupils in sporting activities at a local comprehensive school. |
