The Torfaen Youth Service Duke Of Edinburgh Award is based at Llantarnam Leisure Centre. Meetings are held every Friday between 6.30pm and 9.00pm. Expedition training is delivered every week, other sessions include fitness training, swimming, sports and OCN courses. Sessions are just 50p  per week attended. Visits to places such as Bedlinog Climbing centre and Pontypool Ski Slope are regular additions to the programme. New members are welcome to join the bronze, silver or gold groups. No previous experience necessary
A number of members have completed their Bronze award and have progressed to almost completing the Silver section. We also now have a Gold award section.
