| Three Cwmbran Youth Centres,
Ashley House, Croesyceiliog
and Coed Eva worked together in partnership to
represent Torfaen Youth Clubs in Cwmbran Carnival on 18th June 2005. The theme of their entry was based around the Welsh Mabinogion Folk stories and their 5 metre walking creations certainly created an excellent impression along the two mile procession route. Members of the youth clubs were dressed as Owls, Boars, Deers and Flowers to illustrate the tale of Math the Magician. It was certainly a first for the youth service as characters as large as this have never been seen in Cwmbran Carnival before and the appreciation of bystanders in the way of applause certainly made the project, which was organised in partnership with The Musical Youth project, worthwhile.
