Every year the Cardiff Bay Authority in partnership with the Welsh
Canoeing Association organise a Canoe Water Festival in the superb
surroundings of Cardiff Bay. Canoeists have the opportunity to try out a range of canoes and kayaks from a number of manufacturers who have stalls on the site. In addition experts in the field of kayaking hold master classes for young people who wish to learn new techniques. The Water Festival is always very well attended and organised and a welcome event in the diary of canoeing/kayaking activities calendar. Don't forget the Canoe club is open to all young people aged 11 -18yrs and meet at Fairwater Leisure Centre in Cwmbran every Wednesday evening between 8pm and 9pm during school term times.
